KITE Magazine works with the Kite College team year round. While testing the Norddeich surfing school over the summer months, KITE chief tester Michael Vogel and his team often travel to the Kite College destinations in spring, autumn and winter. Because the kites, boards and the accessories in our test groups are not only closely examined by Michael Vogel and the Kite College trainers – we are also interested in the opinion of the event participants. This gives us the opportunity to have each product tested extensively by different types of riders and by kites of varying skill levels. In return, the event participants have the opportunity to extensively test the latest material from various manufacturers, something which is often only possible on large test festivals.
